Concrete That Works as Hard as You Do

Commercial and rural concrete has one job: to take a beating and keep going. Forklifts on a warehouse floor, stock and machinery in a cattle yard, trucks on a hardstand, wash-down and effluent in a dairy — this is concrete that has to be prepared, reinforced and finished for genuine hard use, not just to look neat.

Mount Gambier Concrete pours for businesses and farms right across the Limestone Coast. From warehouse and factory floors, car parks and commercial slabs, to cattle yards, dairy floors, feed pads and machinery sheds — with concrete pumping for the big or hard-to-reach pours. Fixed-price quotes, reliable scheduling, and the paperwork businesses and farms actually need.

Commercial, Industrial & Rural Work

Commercial & Industrial Floors

Warehouse floors, factory and workshop slabs and commercial floors — flat, hard-wearing and reinforced to carry racking, forklifts and heavy loads.

Car Parks & Hardstands

Concrete car parks, hardstands and access areas for businesses — durable surfaces built for constant vehicle traffic.

Rural & Farm Concreting

Cattle yards, dairy concreting, feed pads, machinery sheds and farm slabs — practical, tough concrete for working properties across the Limestone Coast.

Concrete Pumping

Concrete pumping for hard-to-reach pours, large volumes and commercial jobs — getting concrete exactly where it needs to go, efficiently.

A Genuine Limestone Coast Rural Team

The Limestone Coast is farming country — dairy, cattle, cropping and everything that supports it — and rural concreting is work a lot of operators either can't or won't take on. We can. Cattle yards that stand up to stock and effluent, dairy floors with the right falls and finish, feed pads, machinery and shed slabs thickened for heavy gear, and footings for farm buildings.

We service the whole region for rural work — from Mount Gambier and Tantanoola across to Millicent, up to Penola, Naracoorte and the Coonawarra, and out through the Tatiara to Bordertown, Keith and beyond. If you're on the land and need concrete that lasts, we'll come out, quote a fixed price, and pour it right.

How We Deliver a Commercial or Rural Pour

Bigger pours have more moving parts — engineering, program, access, pumping and finishing — so planning matters as much as the concrete. Here's how we run a commercial or rural job from spec to sign-off.

  1. 01

    Plan & confirm the spec

We work to the engineer's drawings and specification — slab thickness, reinforcement, joints and finish — and plan the pour around your program, access and other trades.

  2. 02

    Prepare the base

We excavate, build up and compact the sub-base, lay a moisture barrier where required, and set the falls — including the specific falls a dairy or wash-down floor needs for drainage and effluent.

  3. 03

Form up & reinforce to spec

We set formwork to line and level and place the specified reinforcement — mesh, bar, dowels and any thickenings or beams — so the floor carries its design loads.

  4. 04

    Pump & place the concrete

For large volumes, tight access or elevated work we use concrete pumping to place the concrete accurately and efficiently, keeping a big pour moving.

  5. 05

    Screed, level & finish

We screed dead level and finish to the specification — a power-float finish for warehouse and industrial floors, a broom finish for grip, or as specified for the use.

  6. 06

    Saw-cut joints & cure

We saw-cut control and expansion joints at the right spacing to manage cracking on large slabs, and cure the concrete properly so it reaches full design strength.

  7. 07

    Documentation & sign-off

You get a written, itemised tax invoice, with insurance and compliance documentation available on request — the paperwork businesses and farms actually need.

Fixed Price & the Paperwork You Need

Businesses and farms need reliable scheduling and clear documentation, not vague promises. We quote commercial and rural work in writing, itemised, and back it with proper invoicing and compliance records.

Included in your quote

  • Site prep, base build-up and compaction
  • Formwork and reinforcement to spec
  • The concrete, placed and finished
  • Concrete pumping where needed
  • Saw-cut joints and curing
  • A GST tax invoice; insurance docs on request
  • Clean-up on completion

What affects the price

  • Floor area, thickness and reinforcement
  • The finish specified (float, broom, etc.)
  • Access and whether pumping is required
  • Site prep, moisture barrier and falls
  • Program and staging around other trades
  • Rural extras — yards, effluent falls, feed pads

Our transparency promise

We pour to the engineered spec, quote a fixed price in writing, and turn up to the agreed program — because on a commercial or farm job, a concreter who doesn't show holds up everyone. You get clear pricing, reliable scheduling and the documentation your business or farm needs.

Commercial & Rural Concreting FAQs

Do you do commercial and industrial concreting?
Yes. We pour commercial and industrial floors, warehouse slabs, car parks and hardstands, reinforced and finished for heavy use. We can work in with builders, project timelines and engineered specifications, and provide the documentation commercial clients need.
Do you do rural and farm concreting on the Limestone Coast?
Absolutely — it's one of our strengths. We pour cattle yards, dairy floors, feed pads, machinery and shed slabs, footings and farm driveways across the Limestone Coast and South East SA, built tough for stock, machinery and the conditions.
Can you handle large-volume or hard-to-reach pours?
Yes. For large volumes, tight access or elevated pours we use concrete pumping to place concrete accurately and efficiently. It keeps big commercial and rural pours moving and reduces labour and mess on site.
Do you provide quotes and invoices suited to businesses?
Yes. Commercial and rural clients get a written, itemised quote and a proper GST tax invoice, with insurance and compliance documentation available on request. We understand businesses and farms need clear paperwork and reliable scheduling.
Can you work in with our builder or project schedule?
Yes. We regularly work alongside builders, project managers and other trades, pouring slabs and floors to the program and to engineered drawings. Give us the plans and timeline and we'll fit in with the build.
